  <title>Milionários na escola!</title>

  <description>&lt;p&gt;Recentemente, na preparação que com os colegas se fazia para uma aula, andamos a pesquisar por soluções de quizes on-line que pudessem ter enquadramento escolar.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;O objetivo era usar um jogo tipo &amp;quot;Quem quer ser milionário&amp;quot; para aferir os conhecimentos dos alunos sobre a matéria. Apesar de não se ter usado esta solução que indico, retive que é uma solução interessante e de baixo custo. O &lt;a href=&quot;https://www.millionaireforschools.co.uk/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;Milionaire for Schools&lt;/a&gt; para além de criar todo o ambiente do famoso concurso, tem  a particularidade de permitir a utilização de questões já previamente criadas e disponíveis na plataforma on-line. As questões estão devidamente categorizadas e torna-se simples a associação ao nosso quiz. Um senão... a maioria está em inglês :-(. Mas há sempre a possibilidade de criarmos novas questões em qualquer língua.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Não sendo propriamente uma abordagem ou tecnologia inovadora, é uma solução simples de utilizar e é possível usar de forma gratuíta por algumas semanas.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Relativamente aos resultados da aplicação deste tipo de estratégias, não estive pessoalmente na primeira aula em que usamos na UA mas o feedback foi muito positivo. Vamos repetir mais vezes.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Se tiverem alguns exemplos com a integração de jogos nas vossas aulas partilhem essas experiências!&lt;/p&gt;</description>

  <title>Videojogos em LabMM 3/NTC/UA</title>

  <description>&lt;p&gt;Terminado o semestre de LabMM 3 é tempo de um pequeno balanço...&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Foi o meu regresso às aulas depois de 3 anos dedicado a outros projectos. Acho que no início estava um pouco enferrujado e, principalmente, pouco mentalizado para voltar a lidar com toda a burocracia que se exige actualmente a um docente. Com um pouco de paciência a coisa lá foi andando :)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;O principal objectivo de LabMM3, disciplina do 1º semestre do 2º ano, é introduzir os alunos aos principais conceitos da programação, nomeadamente: estruturas de dados, estruturas de decisão, estruturas de repetição, subprogramas e arrays. Na edição deste ano, o grande desafio passou por alterar o programa de modo a &amp;quot;abandonar&amp;quot; o Flash e o Actionscript e passar a adoptar o HTML5, com grande enfoque, nesta disciplina, no Javascript.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Os resultados dos projectos finais foram muito interessantes. Mas ainda não é simples desenvolver jogos para a Web só com Javascript!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Espero que os alunos tenham aprendido e se tenham divertido! Espero também que vocês se possam divertir a jogá-los.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;PS. Se um jogo não funcionar num browser... experimentem noutro qualquer! Mas evitem testar com o IE ;)&lt;/p&gt;</description>

Porquê? Para responsabilizar os investigadores, certificando-se a empresa que os contrata de que eles trabalham; pela sua facilidade na aplicação e pelo facto de funcionar ... razoavelmente bem.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Problemas da metodologia tradicional:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;A metodologia tradicional poderá condicionar as respostas dos utilizadores, que não se sentirão confortáveis e que estarão condicionados pelo ambiente artificial em que se encontram. Para além disso, o &amp;quot;focus group&amp;quot; poderá ser constituído por indivíduos que não utilizam habitualmente o produto.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Nova abordagem metodológica:&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;A nova abordagem metodológica é caracterizada por realizar testes em ambientes naturais (ecosistemas tecnológicos), dar tempo suficiente aos utilizadores, testar o produto com utilizadores reais (que realmente o utilizam) e ter um script flexível, que se adequa à vontade do utilizador de fornecer informações.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Na recolha de dados foram utilizadas as seguintes técnicas/metodologias:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;u&gt;- SNERD - Simulated Native Environment Research Division&lt;/u&gt;: utlização de um ambiente similar a um ambiente natural: secretária, cadeira, PC, sem a presença de outros participantes, investigadores ou observadores que possam distrair o utilizador no seu ambiente natural. O objectivo foi, pois, o de deixar os utilizadores confortáveis para dizer e fazer o que quisessem, o que não seria possível com o recurso a um &amp;quot;focus groups&amp;quot;.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Os utilizadores tinham de jogar durante seis horas durante duas noite, sem indicações explicitas. Apenas uma indicação foi dada: teriam de pensar em voz alta enquanto jogavam. Foi utilizado o software TeamSpeak para monitorizar o que os utilizadores diziam e ocasionalmente eram feitas perguntas. Os investigadores estavam numa sala separada. Foram testados 59 utilizadores, num total de 393 horas de jogo individual.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;-&lt;u&gt; PENS - Player Experience of Need Satisfaction&lt;/u&gt;: métrica utilizada para analisar questionários, que tinham a particularidade de ser administrados com o recurso a ecrãs tácteis em vez da caneta e papel convencionais. Para além disso, o questionário tinha uma duração máxima de 2 minutos, sendo que os utilizadores tinham a possibilidade de parar o questionário quando bem entendessem.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;- &lt;u&gt;Problemas encontrados com a nova metodologia:&lt;/u&gt; pouco tempo para visualizar os múltiplos meios utilizados para monitorizar os utilizadores (áudio, vídeo, etc...) e tirar notas ao mesmo tempo.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;&lt;br type=&quot;_moz&quot; /&gt;&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;b&gt;Resultados:&lt;/b&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Pois ...
